What is Paf Open?
Paf Open is a double gender event on the international Swatch FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. The very best beach volleyball players from all over the world compete for 380 000 US dollars and important ranking points to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
When is Paf Open?
Paf Open takes place 17-21 August 2011. Most volunteers need to be on Åland from 14 August.
Why should I volunteer?
Most importantly because it is fun! You get to meet other beachvolleyball enthusiasts from Åland, Finland, Sweden and the rest of the world. You also get the chance to see the best beachvolleyball players closer than anyone, both on and off the court. Volunteering is also a valuable experience of working in a large organization with people from different countries.
What do I get?
You get the boat trip to and from Mariehamn, accommodation, food, drink and volunteer clothing for the whole week. In the end of the week there will be a big party for all the volunteers. After the tournament all volunteers also get a testimonial.
